Anteroposterior (1a) and lateral (1b) magnified radiographs of the distal leg and ankle region of the left lower limb show a broad-based bony outgrowth (yellow arrows) arising from the distal metadiaphyseal region of the anterolateral surface of the distal aspect of the left tibia, showing medullary and cortical continuity suggestive of osteochondroma. Soft tissue swelling is seen overlying the bony lesion (blue arrow) as well as the anterior aspect of the left ankle joint (red arrow).
